Evangelos Aliferis graduated from the School of Pharmacy of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. At the same time he graduated from the Military School of Officer Corps and was sworn in as an Officer of the Hellenic Navy. He completed postgraduate studies at the Harokopion University of Athens in Applied Dietetics and Nutrition with a focus on Clinical Nutrition as well as at the National School of Public Health with a focus on Public Health. His continuing education includes participation in distance seminars and participation in conferences (Diabetes – a Global Challenge, online, University of Copenhagen, Pharmacie Hospitaliaire, cours en ligne, Université de Genève, 15th Congress of the Panhellenic Association of Pharmacists, 18th Congress of Balkan Medicine, 16 conference EAHP (Association European hospital Pharmacists). Since 2019 he is a member of the Panhellenic Union of Pharmacists.
Since 2009 he has been working as a pharmacist in the Navy. He has worked at the Athens Naval Hospital as a hospital pharmacist, but also as a community pharmacist.
Since 2014, he has been working at the Naval General Staff in the Health Department. He has been a Member of the Organizing Committee of the 27th Armed Forces Medical Conference. He speaks three foreign languages (English, French and Italian).
His academic interests focus on Public Health, Dietetics and Pharmacology, Bioethics and Human Rights. He has two publications on related topics.
